Texas Fun Fact #2
July 7, 2008The conference center (George R. Brown Convention Center) where the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference is being held is featuring more green materials than past Microsoft conferences: plastic cups that are 100% biodegradable and made from 100% corn, way less paper than last year (they are finally using technology to get us the info we need via thumb/flash drives), no bottled water as they gave each of us a stainless steel water bottle and many more recycling bins than last year. My brother would be pleased.
(Okay, so that wasn’t about Texas per se. Apparently they make bumper stickers here that say “I wasn’t born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could.” There, that’s your fun fact for the day.)
